RUSKIN MATERIAL:-
For those new to Ruskin, we recommend the short biography 'John Ruskin' (Shire Books, £5.99) by James Dearden which provides a good introduction to the man and his work. We have other, more detailed biographies by Hilton and Batchelor. Then there are 'Selected Writings' ( £8.99, Oxford paperback) and a Penguin Selection (£11.99).  There is a shelf devoted  to Second - Hand books (older, rare books now out of print).  We also have exclusive Ruskin Museum leaflets for sale; for instance, a series of three leaflets (50p each) containing around sixty selected Ruskin Quotes.  A DVD entitled 'Ruskin's Journey', (£14.99) made by Lancaster University, is also on sale. This has proved a popular way to find out about Ruskin. There is also a selection of postcards, pads and notelets featuring many of Ruskin's most popular watercolours.
